example cedar sessions
At the weekly children and/or young people’s group the facilitators will welcome everyone and there will be a chance to catch-up with the group.
After that there will be some activities and discussion – these could include drawing, Pictionary, using play-doh, making models, volcanoes, painting and loads more.
During discussions group members will be able to share stories about their experiences. Everyone at the group will know that they cannot repeat anything anyone else says outside of the group.
Near the end there will be some free time before going back to school or home for the day.
Here is an outline of what will happen during the first session of group:
Cedar was really good. It was fun and we made new friends.
